Jelly Telly

Jelly Telly is the new creation of Phil Vischer, the creator and founder of Big Idea and VeggieTales.  (If you don’t know anything about Big Idea or VeggieTales, you can click here, to read all about that.) If you’d like to know more about Jelly Telly, then please read on.

Jelly Telly is an Internet-based television project, created to help children and families understand more about what it means to be a Christian and to live the Christian like.  The project will use many different forms of visual media, from puppets to live action, to stories, to the live performance of songs concerning topics from the Bible.  It’s a fun new way to teach people, specifically children, how to live for the Lord each and every day.

Jellyfish

Phil Vischer also started a community for those that wanted to be a part of this creation.  This creative community is called Jellyfish, and can be found here . Everyone is welcome to become a member of this community, whether or not they think they have any talent in the areas of drawing or animation or singing or character voicing, or what have you. At the present time, there are almost 500 members, and it’s a wonderful place to share ideas and creations, but also to just talk about the media arts.

 

The Jelly Telly Prayer Team

Some of us that are part of this Jellyfish community have committed to praying for Phil’s new venture, Jelly Telly, and we have set Tuesdays aside as our day for prayer. Hence the name, “Jelly Telly Tuesdays.” Each week, we try to focus on particular concerns associated with this venture, and we also pray for the employees of Phil Vischer’s company, Jellyfish Labs, as well as each other within the Jellyfish community. We desire to cover this venture in prayer so that it will be what God wants it to be, and will bring glory and honor to His Name.

If you would like to join us in praying for Phil, Jellyfish Labs, the Jellyfish community and Jelly Telly, then we would love to have your added prayers!
