Well, howdy-do, everyone!

Two months ago today, exactly two months ago, I posted for the first time this year.  And my intention was to write something every day.

Well… life has a way of getting in the way of our plans, you know?

Immediately after that post on January 2, I became sick, and the sickness lingered for another 6 weeks.  I would get better, then my son would get sick, and then he would pass it to me again.  So certain non-essential things had to go by the wayside.  Unfortunately, I considered this blog to be “non-essential.”  But when you’re so stuffy-headed you can’t breathe?  And you’re so weak you feel as if you’ve been hit by a train?  A lot of things can seem to be “non-essential.”

But I’m back! And more than ready to get this thing moving again!

So here I sit, having arrived back home last night from yet another “whirlwind tour” of three cities to deal with my mom’s finances.  1,500 miles in less than two days.  But that’s okay, because we made a lot of progress on this trip.  Things are coming together to sell my mom’s house — er, the “new” house — in the next couple of months.

I will post pictures as soon as the house is complete and I’ll even do a “before and after” set, so you can see the difference.

Well, for those of you who check on this blog from time to time, thanks for your patience at my silence.  I won’t be silent any more!  I’ll be posting many times a week, as I share the things the Lord lays on my heart.  There will be more devotionals, and stories, and…. just a “bunch-a-stuff.”  🙂

Blessings to you all! And remember that God loves you so much! More than you can imagine!

Today’s Cookie Crumb:

“For His lovingkindness is great toward us (it prevails over us), and the truth of the Lord is everlasting.  Praise the Lord!”
